Dr. Adeyinka Adedeji holds a Bachelor of Science (First Class) degree in
Chemical Engineering from the University of Lagos, Nigeria as well as a
Master of Science and a Ph.D. in Polymer Physics from the Case Western
Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio in the USA. He also has a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Finance from the State University of New York.

Dr. Adedeji was a Post Doctorate Fellow at the Chemical Engineering
Department of the University of Minnesota, USA, a senior scientist, Strategic
Marketing Director, and a LEAN Six Sigma Black Belt at General Electric
(USA). 

He has distinguished himself in Business and Digital Banking transformation,
innovation, and product development in all United Bank for Africa Group
subsidiaries across Africa for 14 years. He has successfully championed over 10 start-up businesses. Dr. Adedeji has also served on several Executive Committees of the UBA Bank, and on Advisory Boards of Payment Card Schemes.

Until last year Dr. Adedeji, was the Group Director of Payments with Equity
Bank Group Holdings in Nairobi, Kenya.
